Ingredients

flour

sea salt

baking powder

Salty Olive Blood Orange EVOO

sugar

eggs

chopped pecans
1/3
cup
semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Whisk flour salt and baking powder in a medium bowl.
2. In a large bowl whisk olive oil and sugar until combined. Whisk in egg.
3. Add the dry ingredients and stir until it comes together.
4. Divide dough in two and wrap each half in plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours.
5. Heat oven to 350° Line baking sheet with parchment.
6. Form a log from each half - about 3.5 x 8. Bake about 35-45 minutes and golden
7. Take out logs and lower temp to 300. When cool enough to handle cut on the bias into 1 in wide slices.
8. Place slices cut side down on baking sheet and bake until dry and toasted about 10-15 minutes.
9. Melt chocolate in microwave and drizzle over cooled cookies.
