In a small bowl, combine garlic, onion and cream cheese. On a serving platter shape into a flat disk about 6 inches in diameter. Set aside.
In a small saucepan, add olive oil, brown sugar, balsamic, and mustard. Cook & Stir over med heat until sugar dissolves.Remove from heat and stir in pecans.
Cool for a bit and then spoon over cheese. Serve with your favorite crackers.
