
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2/3 cup Salty Olive Blood Orange EVOO
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- 1. Whisk flour salt and baking powder in a medium bowl.
- 2. In a large bowl whisk olive oil and sugar until combined. Whisk in egg.
- 3. Add the dry ingredients and stir until it comes together.
- 4. Divide dough in two and wrap each half in plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours.
- 5. Heat oven to 350° Line baking sheet with parchment.
- 6. Form a log from each half – about 3.5 x 8. Bake about 35-45 minutes and golden
- 7. Take out logs and lower temp to 300. When cool enough to handle cut on the bias into 1 in wide slices.
- 8. Place slices cut side down on baking sheet and bake until dry and toasted about 10-15 minutes.
- 9. Melt chocolate in microwave and drizzle over cooled cookies.
