Maple Whipped Goat Cheese

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Goat Cheese softened
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp Salty Olive Maple Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sadly Olive Fior Fiore EVOO
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup – optional for added sweetness
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp cracked pepper
  • 1/3 cup pecans, roughly chopped and toasted
  • 1 fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish

Instructions

  • In a food processor or mixing bowl, combine goat cheese, cream cheese, Maple Balsamic, EVOO, honey, salt, and pepper.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • In a small skillet over medium heat, toast pecans for 3–4 min, stirring frequently. Set aside to cool slightly.
  • Spoon the base into a serving bowl. Drizzle with a touch of Maple Balsamic and Fior Fiore EVOO, then top with toasted pecans and herbs.
  • Serve with crostini, apple slices, or crackers.
